Update from Chuck

October 4, 2002

Devon Energy Corp. has committed to pay for lunch for the crew on workday and to purchase a water tank for the island. Thank you Devon!

I am going to pick up the water tank near Beltway and I-10 Saturday morning.

The Salt Cedars that Charlie and I planted are sprouting nicely.

My grandson, Jeremy, will work on Saturday, the 12th, mowing and treating for fire ants on the island, weather permitting. He plans to come back and help us on Workday, on the 19th.
